Hi, I’m Duncan Forrest, the founder of Forrest Electrical.

I’ve spent over a decade working in the electrical industry, gaining experience across a wide range of environments. From the Marsden Point Oil Refinery and high end commercial projects in London to managing large scale townhouse developments here in New Zealand. This experience has given me a solid foundation across all aspects of electrical work, from fault finding and repairs through to complex installations and large scale projects.

For the past five or so years, I’ve been focused on working within the local Kāpiti community, helping homeowners and businesses with everything from urgent electrical repairs and switchboard upgrades to rewiring entire homes, installing EV chargers and wiring new builds.

I’m easy-going and easy to talk to, and I believe getting electrical work done shouldn’t be a hassle. Whether it’s a straightforward job or something that needs a bit of problemsolving, I’ll take the time to figure out what’s going on and find a practical solution that works for you.
